ひさしぶり!
It's been a long time eh? ^_^
On the contrary I have not given up on photography! In fact my creativity has been revived and inspired! This past Friday I got a taste of what spring would be like here! Today is actually the first day of Spring! My first semester of uni was awesome! Academically I could have done better. Much better -_-. So thing semester I have been focusing on the latter (actually I should be writing my English essay now... :X) This journey of me cleansing my insides and out has been a long one with subtle changes but I'd like to think I'm become a better person.

Anyways, enough of me. I hope whoever reads this will keep the world in their prayers. In light of recent world events please: Pray for the people of Japan, especially for the Dai-ichi plant workers who knowingly expose themselves to the radiation in order to eventually save the lives of everyone else in Japan. Pray for the warring between the people and government in Libya and Croatia. There can never be enough prayers you know. Do what you can to help as well. I can guarantee what is going on in your life is nothing compared to those suffering across the seas.

On my spring break I did a bit of traveling and brought my Nikon along so I will being showing some soon!

Best of luck to all!

P.S Oh dear. I've gone and become a Tumblr addict btw. >_< Feel free to follow: vansayshello.tumblr.com

"Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

by Dr. Seuss

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.  And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.

You'll look up and down streets.  Look 'em over with care.
About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there."
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet,
you're too smart to go down any not-so-good street.

And you may not find any
you'll want to go down.
In that case, of course,
you'll head straight out of town.

It's opener there
in the wide open air.

Out there things can happen
and frequently do
to people as brainy
and footsy as you.

And when things start to happen,
don't worry.  Don't stew.
Just go right along.
You'll start happening too.

OH!
THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!

You'll be on your way up!
You'll be seeing great sights!
You'll join the high fliers
who soar to high heights.

You won't lag behind, because you'll have the speed.
You'll pass the whole gang and you'll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you'll be the best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.

Except when you don't
Because, sometimes, you won't.

I'm sorry to say so
but, sadly, it's true
and Hang-ups
can happen to you.

You can get all hung up
in a prickle-ly perch.
And your gang will fly on.
You'll be left in a Lurch.

You'll come down from the Lurch
with an unpleasant bump.
And the chances are, then,
that you'll be in a Slump.

And when you're in a Slump,
you're not in for much fun.
Un-slumping yourself
is not easily done.

You will come to a place where the streets are not marked.
Some windows are lighted.  But mostly they're darked.
A place you could sprain both your elbow and chin!
Do you dare to stay out?  Do you dare to go in?
How much can you lose? How much can you win?

And IF you go in, should you turn left or right...
or right-and-three-quarters? Or, maybe, not quite?
Or go around back and sneak in from behind?
Simple it's not, I'm afraid you will find,
for a mind-maker-upper to make up his mind.

You can get so confused
that you'll start in to race
down long wiggled roads at a break-necking pace
and grind on for miles across weirdish wild space,
headed, I fear, toward a most useless place.
The Waiting Place...

...for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or a No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.

Waiting for the fish to bite
or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting.

NO!
That's not for you!

Somehow you'll escape
all that waiting and staying.
You'll find the bright places
where Boom Bands are playing.

With banner flip-flapping,
once more you'll ride high!
Ready for anything under the sky.
Ready because you're that kind of a guy!

Oh, the places you'll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored.  there are games to be won.
And the magical things you can do with that ball
will make you the winning-est winner of all.
Fame!  You'll be famous as famous can be,
with the whole wide world watching you win on TV.

Except when they don't.
Because, sometimes, they won't.

I'm afraid that some times
you'll play lonely games too.
Games you can't win
'cause you'll play against you.

All Alone!
Whether you like it or not,
Alone will be something
you'll be quite a lot.

And when you're alone, there's a very good chance
you'll meet things that scare you right out of your pants.
There are some, down the road between hither and yon,
that can scare you so much you won't want to go on.

But on you will go
though the weather be foul
On you will go
though your enemies prowl
On you will go
though the Hakken-Kraks howl
Onward up many
a frightening creek,
though your arms may get sore
and your sneakers may leak.

On and on you will hike
and I know you'll hike far
and face up to your problems
whatever they are.

You'll get mixed up, of course,
as you already know.
You'll get mixed up
with many strange birds as you go.
So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
and remember that Life's
a Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left.

And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!
(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)

KID, YOU'LL MOVE MOUNTAINS!

So...
be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Bray
or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O'Shea,
you're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting.
So...get on your way!

Oh Tim Burton I am highly disappointed! The visuals were amazing but if i were to watch it again I would watch it in 2-D. The way he incorporated the story was meh. He kept jumping from one thing to another where parts would be too vague. Too much Mad Hatter too. We all love dear Johnny but it is Alice in Wonderland. So very disappointed. I've been so excited to see ever since I heard of it's production too! I thought Tim Burton and Alice would =WIN.

Oh well what can you do. For now I'm looking forward to Kick-Ass

Is anyone else getting addicted to watching them?? It's getting into my head, I'm actually getting inspiration from the athletes!! It's really amazing. Winter sports are so intense :ohnoes: I don't even know all the winter sports but hearing about the stories behind each nation's athlete is pretty amazing. Yeah so, if you have the time you should give it a watch. It's basically on 24/7 :D So far Pairs Figure Skating and Short Track has caught my attention best
:flagcanada:Vancouver is such a beautiful city, lots of chinese people lol, and druggies but other than that! Huge place, been there about 5-6 years ago lol!

Alright enough of that,
Peace!

If you haven't seen Avatar yet *ahem* ~hippiechan*ahem* you should be ashamed of yourself as a human being. It is such a beautiful film. Everything about it is gorgeous, the scores, cinematography, choreograghy, the CGI, the acting, PANDORA, amazing. It's totally worth the extra for 3D. I'm planning to see it again in IMAX

On another note please pray for the victims of the Haitian earthquake and be so kind as to donate to a charity. Every dollar does count after all.

The whole connection of the energy of the world and Pandora and nature and even Haiti's situation...it just all connects and voila a new-found truth in life

It's a beautiful thing!

Well back to the flow of life-procrastination on a 4x6' composition

It would be awesome if I could go to college...yeah

On another note I like the ring of "oh-nine" better than just "ten" or is it said like "oh-ten"? Because if you say it like "oh-ten" then it's spelled/typed "010" and that looks retarded/like a virus...and just like Ellen said we can't wear the 2-0-0-9 jawns on our eyes any more :(

I hate to see my precious Rain template go away but I have a question...

Does anyone know a GOOD quality photo printing service, where I can customized the proportions(instead of the standard 8X10, 5x7 etc.)?? I just need 1 print for one image so it's not like 500 prints or anything >.>

So far I've found none =_= or maybe I'm just a bad google-er

I went to NYAF this weekend! I went with 3 friends but they all left me to go see something I wasn't really interested in. I took a lot pictures of cosplay, but as expected the indoor lighting was horrendous. I was like an old perverted man taking creepy angles of girls HEHEHEHEHEHE. That's what I really am :D I'll probably make a video of it. I'll most likely edit the pictures as well as the pictures from the beautiful city of Paris on the weekend because I'm a lazy ass like that.

Overall NYAF=meh

Paris was awesome(vacation wise). It has such beautiful people and atmosphere. The cars are tiny, everyone has motos, the metro is love, bread w/jam everyday is filling, smoking/drinking in daylight at brassaries are commonplace, and wearing stilettos while walking the dog is perfectly fine. The language barrier was really not a problem. English was everywhere and 2 years of learning it helped a lot. Luckily I had native relatives who took me around so I didn't really look like a tourist. I can spot any tourist from a mile away. Especially americans D:. I loved being around such effortlessly fashionable people and stopping by cafes about 5 times a day. The French really know how to live the life! Unfortunately I didn't go just for a vacation; I went to go visit my dying cousin. Time is so precious. He passed away the day I landed back home. I'm grateful for him holding on for that long. Rest in peace W. He was only 18. The prime of his life.

Rest in peace King of Pop, may your music and career continue on to inspire millions of dancers, artists, creators and people like you and me.

THE LEGEND HAD PASSED ON.

Ever since I saw him on T.V in my dentist's waiting room, I was hooked. I admire him as a person, his music and what he's done, even if he had his creepy moments. It's a conspiracy I say! He "died" like Tupac :( He didn't even get to give his last tour. He passing is really saddening...at least he is in peace.

On another note I was able to capture decent pictures in the big apple. But again I am broke as a mofo. I bought too many magazines from kinonuniya =_= My mate and I got lost a little but was fun!

I hate east coast weather so HARD.

Peace Out!
